"Jasmere" is a family name. Well, no one in our family is named jasmere, but it's a family name nonetheless. 

You see, the original "jasmere" is not a person, but a place - a mythical land full of dragons, knights and discoveries. It's the fictional setting for fabulous and widely-anticipated stories our "Gramps" always told his grandkids.

What does that jasmere have to do with this jasmere?  Not so much, we suppose.  Except that they are both the sites of much discovery.  And naming this site in a way that would honor that man, well, it seemed a good way to start a new family business.
