Jasmere is a family-owned company that doesn't take the environment for granted.  We love our Earth, and want it to remain here (and remain beautiful) for our kids, our kids' kids - and beyond...

While no company is without its flaws, we are committed to doing our part to be responsible stewards of the planet.  Here's how:

• From our very first week, we have featured companies with a real eco-commitment.  Whether they sell paper products, organic meat, kids' clothes, or even carbon offsets, businesses that are doing their part to preserve the environment are far more likely to be chosen for our site.
• In August of 2010, jasmere committed to being a carbon-neutral operation by investing in clean energy thru TerraPass.That means that for every pound of carbon we emit through our regular business activities, we invest in equivalent clean energy activities that net our enviromental impact to zero.  We are proud to have earned the right to display the "carbon balanced" logo (below, left) on our site.
• We recently added the ships green option for all of our vendors, and have been delighted by the proportion that have taken us up on this.  Whenever you see the "ships green" logo (below, right) on our homepage, you know that the featured merchant will ensure that all orders coming from the jasmere sale will be shipped in a carbon-neutral manner.
